Meet the team behind our MachairWind offshore wind project.
Mandy Gloyer
Head of Development, Scotland
I am Head of Offshore Development for Scotland. With an environmental background, and a passion to address climate change, delivering environmentally responsible development, I have worked for SPR for over 14 years, leading environmental, planning policy, stakeholder, leasing and development teams. Living in Glasgow, I enjoy practicing yoga and Pilates, and spending time with my young daughter.
Kiera Wilson
Senior Project Manager and Development Lead
I have over 10 years’ experience in the renewables sector, including 8 in offshore wind. As the Development Lead for MachairWind, it is my role to lead the project through the development stage and up to construction. Having grown up on the West Coast I am passionate about the project and am committed to ensuring we are a good neighbour to local communities, and that we develop MachairWind in a responsible way.
Pauline Andrieu
Development Project Manager
I have come from an engineering background, bringing international experience from France, Taiwan, Denmark and the US to SPR since 2019. In my spare time I enjoy hillwalking or mountain-biking.
Joanne Cochrane
Assistant Project Manager
I’ve been working with ScottishPower for 33 years but recently joined the MachairWind Team in September 2023.
Colin McFarlane
Senior Stakeholder Manager
I joined the team in July 2023. I work across SPR’s Scottish offshore portfolio with the aim of maintaining positive relationships with the communities and stakeholders with an interest in our projects.
Ellen Kane
Stakeholder Manager
I joined SPR in October 2023, with a background in consultancy, specialising in stakeholder and community engagement. I have worked with rural, remote and island communities across Argyll and Bute, The Highlands, Shetland, and South Ayrshire in past roles.
Deborah Bryce
Community Engagement Manager
I joined the team in April 2023 and am the local ‘on the ground’ point of contact for the MachairWind project, working closely with our local host communities. I have lived on Jura since 2005 and have a background of community engagement assisting with the development, implementation and management of local community action plans. I was also a community councillor for eight years and currently a voluntary development trust director.
Jason Tsimplakos
Senior Engineering Manager
My role is to facilitate collaboration between the multiple disciplines required to deliver such a challenging project and ensure that the ethos and values of ScottishPower Renewables are inherent in its design.
